Our process is a multi-step approach, but it breaks down to a simple one: at every stage of development we will ask for feedback. This way the client gets exactly what they want, and we let them guide us with their thoughts and ideas as the project evolves.

Evaluate Requirements

  • Work with client to come up with a detailed list of requirements for their website.
  • Determine if any additional components or modules will need to be used and if any other 3rd party services are needed.
  • Decide which components will need to be created from scratch and compose specifications for each.
  • Client will be presented with a list of any additions that are needed, including custom and 3rd party.

Graphic Design of Website

  • We will take the input received from the client along with any design elements and create an initial design ‘proof’ with multiple color treatments. The initial proof will consist of a design for the ‘home page’ and a regular ‘content’ page.
  • Client will provide feedback (1st design revision).
  • Additional changes will be made based on client feedback.
  • Client provides final feedback on the design (2nd design revision).
  • Changes to the design will be made based on further client feedback.
  • Final changes to the design will be made.

Implementation

  • Apply the custom designs to the websites, ensuring formatting is maintained across the spectrum of web browsers and operating-system platforms.
  • Create custom scripts and plug-ins as needed.
  • Inserting website content into the site framework.

Preliminary Testing

Maintenance & Support

M & S

In exchange for the Maintenance Fee, as defined below, the Provider will provide the following Services in accordance with requirements and specifications designated by the Company from time to time during the Term:

  1. Monitor the overall performance of the Website for functionality on a monthly basis, provided, however, that this obligation shall not exceed more than eighty (80) hours total per month.
  2. Perform any corrective maintenance services or repairs reasonably necessary to maintain the operation of the Website on the Internet, including, but not limited to: repairing scripting languages, PHP programming, basic HTML, CSS, broken images or links, bug fixes, database errors, general text editing, and all other malfunctioning code and website components.
  3. All routine corrective maintenance must be scheduled between the hours of 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. HST on weekdays in order to minimize disruption of the Website during peak times (the “Maintenance Time”). If any extra maintenance is required outside of the Maintenance Time, the Provider will obtain the prior consent of the Company and give the Company at least twenty-four (24) hours advance notice.
  4. As directed by the Company pursuant to a Company Maintenance Request, revise, edit, add, remove, or otherwise update the Website’s content, including, but not limited to, text, graphic design, images, links and/or web pages in order to keep the Website up to date. Absent obtaining the prior consent of the Company, updates to the Website must be made no later than five (5) days from the date such Company Maintenance Request is received; provided, however, that any Company Maintenance Request submitted by the Company after 5:00p.m. HST time or on Saturday, Sunday, or federal holidays will be deemed received on the next business day. If the work to be performed under any Company Maintenance Request cannot be performed within the Company Maintenance Time, the Provider will obtain the prior consent of the Company and give the Company at least twenty-four (24) hours’ advance notice.
  5. Procure any equipment, products, or third-party services required to maintain, repair, and update the Website. The Company will reimburse the Provider for its actual out-of-pocket cost, without any mark-up thereon, for the purchase of such equipment, products, or third-party services, below; provided, however, that the Provider will obtain the prior consent of the Company for any purchase to be made by the Provider in excess of $10; and, provided, further, that the Company will not be obligated to reimburse the Provider for any portion of services purchased by the Provider that extend beyond the termination or expiration of this Agreement.
  6. Maintain a current back-up copy of the Website at least one (1) time each week in a commercially reasonable manner and archive any files submitted by the Company in secure locations suitable for such materials.
  7. Provide technical support and training relating to the Website’s maintenance and administration.
  8. Upon request, provide the following reports (and any other reports reasonably requested by the Company from time to time) on a monthly basis: Website audit report, search engine reports, error reports, and such other reports as may be reasonably requested by the Company.
  9. Provide support, answer questions the Company may have regarding the website.
  10. Keep the website software updated to the latest version and all of its third party add-on up to date.
  11. Perform automatic security scans on a daily basis, report to the Company in the event of successful breach.
  12. Website malware detection and removal.
  13. Maintain website firewall rules updated.
  14. Perform automated website SSL (https) renewals.
  15. Perform the website server OS updates
  16. Maintain website server firewall rules updated.
  17. Disaster recovery plan: In the event of successful breach, hack or hardware failure, the Provider will assets and deploy the best recovery plan available, implement any measures that will help prevent future breach, hack or hardware failure.

Terms & Conditions

T & C

Changes to the website layout or design after the design finalization may incur an additional fee. Changes to the overall website specifications or features may also incur an additional cost. We will notify the client in advance in this event.

Graphic Design Revisions are included in the project price, meaning you get to request additional changes to the site after we show you our initial design. We will spend up to 2 hours on each revision. You can take advantage of our design process by giving us as much detailed information about your vision for your site up front. Additional design revisions or changes to the design and layout once it has been approved will be billed at our normal hourly rate.

You will need to give this website content to us within 21 days of the start of the project. If you need more, please don’t hesitate to contact us for a custom price quote.

If the website content is not supplied to us by the Estimated Completion Date, we may request that you pay the balance due. Your website will be completed to specification based on a revised timeline, no sooner than 3 weeks from when we receive final content unless we approve an alternate arrangement.

All content must be sent to us in electronic (Word or PDF) format. If you require formatting or special styling we will need your documents to reflect this or the Designer to provide formatted HTML showing an example.

The client is responsible for all website content and the spelling and grammar of their content. We can provide copywriting or content editing at an additional fee as required.

We are not responsible for any content (images, video, audio, documents, text, etc.) used in the website that are illegal or copyrighted. The client is responsible for all damages associated with the use of such content.

We offer in-house meetings to go over the client’s initial specs and website details. The bulk of our website and design process will be done via email and phone communication. If we feel it is needed we may schedule additional meetings in-house, but it is up to ONYX SOLUTiON INC staff to determine this. If you need additional time meeting with us in person to go over your project details let us know and we can provide you with an additional quote to cover this time.

If there are client-caused delays that go 1 month beyond the Estimated Completion Date we will charge the amount due by project close and finish the project at the Clients discretion.

At any point during this project you need our services to be expedited we will need to be notified of the terms so that we can provide you with a price estimate to accommodate your request.

We will do our best to ensure that we meet all deadlines and the overall timeline but we will not be held liable for delays beyond our control or those caused by a 3rd party service.

We offer free basic technical support for one month following the completion of your website training session (default is 30 days unless otherwise specified). Please let us know if you are interested in extending this support period or signing up for a discounted ongoing support contract.

If your website experiences malicious abuse by “hackers” or 3rd party, we will do our best to help with restoring your site to a stable state but we will charge our regular hourly rate to do this. In some cases we may charge an expedition fee for this service, unless covered under a maintenance agreement in which there will be no extra fee.

Late payments received more than 30 days after the specified due date will be penalized at a rate of 10% per month that they are overdue. If nonpayment occurs and we are forced to send the client to collections, the client will be responsible to pay all attorney and court related fees.

Upon final payment, all intellectual property rights, title to, and interest in any work product, including but not limited to web designs,web code, web content, logos, graphics of any nature, blog posts, and/or articles belong solely and exclusively to Client.
